LIVE AT THE FILLMORE, The World’s Greatest Tribute to the Allman Brothers Band
Live at the FillmoreLIVE AT THE FILLMORE is the continuation of their devotion to performing the music of the original Allman Brothers Band as it was performed in those early years before the untimely deaths of Duane and Berry Oakley and the departure of Dickey Betts. On June 26, 1971, Lou Maresca, founder of LIVE AT THE FILLMORE, was at Fillmore East for the Saturday night late show, the last public concert at Fillmore East, the one the ABB band calls ‘THE SHOW,’ the one they feel is the greatest performance they ever gave. Lou states that he has never heard them or any other band give a better performance before or since. Sadly, the next time he heard the band was a few months later at New York’s Academy of Music. It was without its leader, Duane Allman, who had died only weeks before in a motorcycle accident near his home in Macon, Georgia. His guitar was onstage on a stand and it was the most solemn rock concert he had ever attended. He had already formed ‘Skydog,’ what may have been the very first Allman Brothers tribute band earlier that year.

Unlike others who believe the band was a jam band, Lou shares the view of Gregg Allman, who has been quoted as recently as 2003 by fellow band member Butch Trucks in stating that rather than being a jam band The Allman Brothers are “a band that jams”. This has continued to be their approach to performing their music. Along with the other highly talented and committed musicians in LIVE AT THE FILLMORE, they bring back authentically the performances of the original Allman Brothers Band for those who were there to hear and still remember them along with those who have a similar love of this music and wish they had been there, too.

ELTON ROHN – Tribute to Elton John
Elton RohnAs Elton Rohn, Ron Camilleri’s ability to transform into Elton John is uncanny. Audiences are amazed and they come away with the feeling of seeing a 1970’s Elton John concert. The show includes the Elton Rohn Band – a full seven piece backing band. Every note is played, no tracks and everybody sings!

As Elton, Ron sounds, looks, plays the piano and performs as if the legendary performer was there. The show has been praised with statements like “Watching Elton Rohn and his excellent band on stage pounding out so many classic cuts and rare gems from those essential 70’s albums is a sheer delight, the stunning musicianship and the array of Elton mannerisms put this remarkable tribute act way up there in the big league” from radio and entertainment professionals across North America. “With the audience standing and cheering after almost every song, he has the look, the voice and the piano chops to make you believe you are seeing the real Elton John! ”

EARTH WONDER FIRE – The music of Earth Wind & Fire and Stevie Wonder
Earth Wonder FireDynamic! Brilliant!! Exciting!!! All of these words have been used to describe EarthWonderFire – The Stevie Wonder / Earth, Wind & Fire Tribute Band; an amazing tribute band based out of Mercer County (NJ), but also is comprised of musicians from central and southern New Jersey, as well as Philadelphia. The band features seasoned professionals who have toured and/or recorded extensively throughout their individual careers.

EarthWonderFire is known for its highly diverse musical style and crew. These well-rounded musicians are able to play anything from straight-ahead jazz and R&B to rock-based tunes and funk grooves. It is that kind of musicianship that sets them apart from most tribute bands.

Another thing that distinguishes EarthWonderFire from other tribute bands is their dedication to paying homage to two world-renown artists simultaneously. Music icons Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire are arguably the most creative and beloved musical performers of the 20th century. EarthWonderFire has gone to great lengths to authentically reproduce the live concert sound of both artists without compromising its own artistic integrity.
